I have been excited about this process for so very long …. and while I have personal stumbling blocks which might make a bad candidate due to my layered diagnosis? It does not lessen my excitement.. to see bad behavior/research method on the part of organization– HEARTBREAKING— because it just takes one bad apple-info -for a well to be poisoned– it will be corrected and the good will rise – but it will take time and due diligence. It is the same with all good works the toxic/bad takes away/makes too much noise. But Good Works will prevail!

Side note– A GO FUND ME vs A YOU CARING for medical expenses or other matters related to chronic illness.

Go Fund Me via Wikipedia

GoFundMe allows users to create their own website to describe what they are raising money for During this process, members can describe their fundraising cause, the amount they hope to raise, and upload photos or video.Once the website is created, GoFundMe allows users to share their project with people through integrated social network links (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and email. People can then donate to a user’s cause through the website using a debit card or credit card and track the progress of their funding. Those who donate can also leave comments on the website in support of the project. GoFundMe generates revenue by automatically deducting a 5% fee from each donation users receive. If the user receives no donations, then no charge is made. This 5% fee allowed Damphousse and Ballester to run the company without outside capital. In addition to the 5% that GoFundMe deducts from each transaction, WePay collects 2.9% and $0.30 from each GoFundMe transaction.

You Caring

YouCaring users create crowdfunding campaigns to raise money for personal, medical, and charitable causes. Nearly 50% of the money raised on YouCaring is for medical expenses.Users write an explanation of their needs, set the amount they need to raise, upload supporting photos and video, and share their fundraisers through social channels and email. Donations can be made using credit card processors PayPal, WePay, or Stripe. YouCaring trademarked the name Compassionate Crowdfunding to describe its service. YouCaring doesn’t charge a fee to those raising funds, but a third-party credit card processing fee of 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction is charged to those donating funds. Operating costs (including salaries for YouCaring employees) are funded by voluntary donations.

Fee structure

Since YouCaring doesn’t charge a platform fee, 100% of proceeds after credit card processing fees go to a user’s fundraiser. The credit card processing fee for each donation is 2.9% plus $0.30 per donation, which is paid by the donor. Many other crowdfunding platforms charge a platform fee on top of similar payment processing fees.
