I trust the science & data which has been gathered overtime. #IWearAMaskBecause we know it is the single greatest defense against Covid-19 along with social distancing & proper hand washing.
As we wear masks awaiting vaccinations, still the doctors are telling us masks will be our best defense. If we all join together for each other, then we know how effective we can become – As a chronic illness advocate, I used to check in on the numbers looking at the trends watching every day. I will confess, it became too much for my empathetic advocate heart and soul. So, I began to check in less to look at worldwide data, USA, my state- county’s, surrounding states …
#IWearAMaskBecause of all of the families, frontline workers, the precious lives we have lost.
I know, know, know if we all choose to act together, for whatever reason on this action in a hashtag #IWearAMaskBecause + social distancing + hand washing in the proper manner. We can alter the impact of this pandemic.
The vaccines are in process. Therefore doing the masks together, according to science, could alter the numbers we have been seeing.
Those heart breaking statistics, they aren’t statistics— no!
They are lives. They are our family, neighbors, communities, nurses, doctors, all of us!!

They are yours too. I am you and you are me.
Every breath we take is precious, it isn’t an annoyance to wear a mask.
A mask is a super hero cape.
Every single time we see a mask, we are seeing super heroes honoring those who have lost their lives and the precious breath of those still breathing.

Masks must be properly worn over both nose and mouth. They should fit correctly around our faces as well. They should be a couple layers to allow filtration. Masks can be both comfortable and fit well while giving extra space for those who feel they aren’t receiving enough oxygen. Taking the time to find an appropriate mask is very helpful. We would take time choosing a pair shoes, pants, shoes etc Why wouldn’t we do the same for a mask? A mask which is going to be a life saving device for ourselves and others in a pandemic.
